Voice preferences, notification settings, session length preferences. Stored locally on your device only.

Usage Data

Anonymous app usage patterns to improve the service. No personal identifiers included.

Device Information

Device type, OS version, and app version for technical support and compatibility.

Analytics Data

Anonymous usage statistics. Used only to understand how to improve the app.

3. Data Storage and Security

What stays on your device

Your saved sessions, preferences, profile information, and app history are stored locally. They don't leave your device unless you choose to back up.

What we process online

Third-party services we use

  • OpenAI — generates your personalized content. Topics are processed but not stored.
  • Google Cloud — converts text to speech audio. Text is processed but not stored.
  • Analytics — anonymous usage data to improve the service.
  • Crash Reporting — anonymous error reports to fix bugs.

Security measures

We use encryption for all data transmission, secure storage practices, minimal data collection, and no permanent storage of your personal content.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to third parties.

We only share data with your explicit consent, to comply with legal requirements, to protect our rights and safety, or with service providers who help us operate the app under strict confidentiality agreements.

View all your data within app settings and saved sessions.

Edit your profile and preferences at any time through the app.

Data Deletion

Delete sessions or reset your profile through app settings.

Contact us to request a copy of your data in a portable format.

Disable analytics collection in app settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us immediately.

7. International Users

If you're using our app from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers.

8. Third-Party Services

OpenAI

We use OpenAI to generate personalized self-talk scripts. Your topics are sent to OpenAI for processing but are not stored by OpenAI per their API data usage policy. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

Google Cloud

We use Google Cloud Text-to-Speech to convert scripts into audio. Content is processed per Google's data terms. See Google Cloud's Privacy Notice.

App Stores

When you download the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, their respective privacy policies and terms also apply.

9. Data Retention

  • Local data — remains on your device until you delete it
  • Analytics data — aggregated data retained for up to 2 years
  • Support communications — retained for up to 3 years
  • AI processing — topics are not permanently stored

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, opt out of the sale of personal information (we don't sell data), and non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by posting the update within the app and updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
